I tried to approach this project in a more creative and abstract way. For this project, I got inspired by a post from Gaetano Agnello. Make sure to check out his Instagram page, he is a very talented photographer!

This series will feature nine pictures, each one will quote the lasts words of persons who died. Yes, this is a rather sad topic, I know. The series will feature nine self-portraits, the branches represent the beginning of something new. This means that even though we die someday, life will continue. We shouldn’t see death as something evil or bad. Death, for me, is a motivation, it pushes me to try out new things and test my limits. It reminds me, that my time on this earth is limited and that we should make the best out of each situation – to live life without regret. We shouldn’t forget, that death can be our greatest teacher.
